The Buffalo Belay jacket is a lightweight outdoor jacket that can be packed away into a small lightweight parcel making it the ideal jacket to use when the weather closes in or as a general everyday walking jacket.

It can be comfortably used as it was originally intended as a second layer to Buffalo’s mountain shirt but is equally popular and capable of being worn over a regular base layer.

The AquaTherm fibre pile and Pertex shell are a combination well known to keep you incredibly warm whilst keeping any perspiration away from your body. It has 2 fully pile lined outer pockets, ideal for keeping your hands warm or carrying your map.

The Belay jacket is windproof up to 50 mph with a fully baffled two-way front zip this jacket is ideal for many outdoor uses including sailing, mountain climbing, general walking and high-level outdoor sports.

Adjustable cuffs and hood collar (hood collar available separately) are made easy with touch and close technology. A prized possession amongst military personnel and adventurers, this jacket comes highly recommended.

Care Instructions:

Buffalo Systems shirts, trousers and jackets require intentional care. It is important to follow the washing instructions on your garment. Do NOT tumble dry, dry clean, use fabric softener or use a wash-in waterproofing agent.

Ideally, wash in Nikwax Tech Wash (max washing temperature 30°c). This is recommended to maintain the high-performance level of your garment. Nikwax TX Direct SPRAY ON can be applied only after washing.
